Our Standard Males
Here are our standard males. Some of them are not paired up while we have
a reshuffle.
We currently have standard males available for sale.
Adult Standard Males
Romeo
Romeo is a shy chin. He is currently being introduced to Dolly the Pink White.
Highest Award: Reserve Grand Show Champion.
Bizzy
Bizzy is a lovely friendly chinchilla. He is a new arrival from Lizz Benson and has settled in well. He is not huge, but is very dark and blue and has exceptionally tight fur. He is currently paired up to an Ultra-Violet Female called Bramble.
Highest Award: Best Standard.
Alister
Alister is a think furred Etherdale chinchilla. He is currently paired with the violet Fern.
Highest Award: Reserve Best Standard.
Max
Max came to live with me from Vicky (Chinchat). He was bred by Etherdale. He is a big lump of a chinchilla, tight furred, chunky and blue, He's a complete stud muffin. He can be a bit of a fidget and a bit of a finger nibbler! He is currently paired up with Smudge, my Black Velvet female from Joyce Garvey.
Highest Award: Reserve Best Standard Male.
Whizz
Whizz is a chunky, sleepy male bred by Lizz Benson. He was previously owned by Lisa Crane in Bristol and was named by her daughter. Whizz is not that energetic! Whizz likes to get the upper hand against other chinchillas and will completely wind them up when the chance arises. Drinking from one water bottle while blocking the other one with his outstretched paw to stop anyone else drinking at the same time is a prime example. He is such a cheeky boy!
Highest Award: 02/04/06 - Champ 2nd, National 2006.
Puddy
Little Pud is a dinky but very blue ¼ Emery male. He has bags of attitude but it's all bark and no bite. He is only ever paired up to females who are much bigger than himself, and so far that has worked well. He doesn't look up to much but he fathers surprisingly attractive offspring!
Highest Award: 29/01/06 - Reserve Best Young Standard.
Ned
Ned is the son of Whizz and Bella. He is a chunky male with nice colouring and a blocky shape. He also has a wonderful personality and is very good with people.
Highest Award: Novice 2nd Adult Standard.
Cleudo
Cleudo is the standard son of Rollie. She was already pregnant when she arrived and she produced a single kit. I have been unable to obtain details of who his father was so far, we know he was standard and a Grand Show Champion - we know various details but not whodunnit!
Moka's son [violet carrier]
This male is the son of Moka, my Reserve GSC, and Fern the violet. He is attractive, with nice fur and reasonable colour, but he is quite small. He has a really cute face like his father and he has inherited his mum's beautiful eyes. He has blossomed into an attrative adult.
